Astronomy Undergraduate Receives 2022 Goldwater Scholarship

Sophomore Lucy Steffes is one of 4 undergraduates at UW-Madison to recieve the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship in 2022. This scholarship provides 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates with up to $7500 in financial support for each of their remaining years pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Lucy has been working in Astronomy with Prof. Snezana Stanimirovic and graduate student Dan Rybarczyk on the ALMA-SPONGE project.
